So I am just curious How many of us are in this "Bring Back Legends/EU Rebellion" movement?

Jedigrandmaster I didn't know there was a a movement, but I'm all for it. After investing in thousands of hours reading EU material and hundreds of dollars in acquiring over 125 EU novels, to have it suddenly 'erased' as canon really hurts. 2 years ago

shrann87 I'm not completely against non-canonical stories myself as long as it does not try to rewrite what made the Skywalker saga, (this does not include the new movies (ep. 7-9), as they are a continuation and not trying to change story DIRECTLY established by the previous 6 movies only, but I fear "Solo" will harm that, though "The Mandalorian" would go completely on its own tangent with a character who is know only for two things...a contract bounty hunter, DNA source (Boba's dad) for the clones, so Boba is (movie wise) is a nobody with no (movie based) history. so whatever disney decides to make as spinoffs or just plain out the door new world, if they keep that in mind, they may not COMPLETELY make the SW franchise a George A. Romero type thing...(made a couple great movies, but has been making a dozen+ uber-crap zombie flicks trying to keep the word "Dead" alive for a few quick bucks every couple years...Disney's Night of the Living Franchise > 4 weeks ago

shrann87 in defense of future Star Wars movies (but not defense of disney !!!), when sourcing a live action 90-120 min. movie from printed and/or gaming material, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to make a perfect conversion and it IS 100% IMPOSSIBLE to make EVERYONE happy when it comes to established and loved franchises, it is also IMPOSSIBLE to to accurately convert other media sources to live action 90-120 min. avg. movie/tv without changing, altering, leaving out and/or adding things as well as some "creative license", try to take that into consideration when going to see a movie, that is why I went into ep. 7 & Rogue One as a person who's never seen a Star Wars movie, just wanting to see a promising sci-fi movie, just knowing basic info like Luke is a Jedi, I Went to see those without any bias at all and LOVED them both, and will do all future movies/tv the same way, you might see them differently, my wife does not want to see Justice League because of little details like Aquaman looking sooo different, I told her "do you really want to see the Flash and Aquaman running around in red tights (Flash) or perfect, short blonde hair and full length yellow/green scale leotard ???, she sort of took my point, I am huge Justice League fan, but am greatly looking forward to the movie big time despite the story and image inconsistencies, so go see a movie unbiased, not a movie demanding the perfect diamond right out the gate based on impossible odds
