The Forcebook was originally started as a refreshing friendly alternative to the main social networks. I wrote the article linked here 8 years ago and it is more relevant than ever. I wrote the article linked here 8 years ago and it is more relevant than ever. People are more disillusioned than ever and now we are seeing our private data sold to the highest bidder! I am seeing lots of friends leavign Facebook. I would like to get The Forcebook back to being a viable alternative. I really want to get back to what made the Forcebook great. A few years ago I moved to a brand new platform and in hindsight made the mistake of making it too similar to Facebook. Since then, despite the huge resurgence of Star Wars, the Forcebook is still a pretty quiet place. The experience is slow and buggy and we have no native app, which is the no.1 request from members.
I'd like to make one more transition to a platform which will return us to what makes The Forcebook great and I would love you all to come along for the ride. Unfortunately all I can do with my limited resources is migrate your logins to the new platform. However I would keep this old platform available for as long as you want to access your old posts. And the great thing is this platform will eventually lead to a native app for your phone.
So what does everyone think? I am aiming to launch on May 4th, which will be the eight birthday of The Forcebook.

"Solo" trailer! Who's excited?
At the time of the Galactic Civil War, the Unknown Regions was regarded as an unexplored region that was separated from the galaxy by a labyrinth of solar storms, rogue magnetospheres, black holes, gravity wells, and things far stranger. Strange creatures were known to inhabit the void.
Wow. I was skeptical about Solo but I must say this looks amazing. Cant wait for full trailer tomorrow.
Very interesting watching the reactions to #thelastjedi. It seems half of fandom loved it straight up and half were bewildered, confused and let down. What I am seeing now is a change for alot of these disillusioned fans after seeing it multiple times. It took me two times to really love it. How is everyone else's experience's seeing it multiple times? Have your opinion's changed? ( Id ask for you not to post spoilers for a little longer )
So was are people’s spoiler free thoughts on The Last Jedi? Comment here......
I need to see the film a second time but that is pretty much my first reaction to it. 4 months ago
